Bones Society of Florida Management Resources

Comprehensive Practice Support from the Bones Society of Florida

The Florida Orthopedic Society has teamed up with the Bones Society of Florida to provide a thorough support system for active members in the orthopedic community. The unique benefits available through our management resources include valuable services to influence practice growth and promote tightly knit industry camaraderie. The following will briefly describe the advantages of our inclusive support from the management perspective of your orthopedic practice.

Career Center

Members have complimentary access to the exclusive FOS and BSOF career center. Here physicians and other orthopaedic specialists can search for job openings, post jobs and find the perfect candidates all through our easy-to-use portal system. For further assistance, we’ve also created sample job descriptions to help practices sculpt the perfect listing.

ICD 10 Resources

Identical to our physician resource counterpart, practice management members also have access to our ICD-10 database. The International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems is a standardized tool for health-care professionals. All members of a practice can utilize and access this tool for all diagnoses, symptoms and procedural classification codes.

A membership also grants a practice access to useful benchmarking tools. By surveying your own established orthopaedic practice, health-care providers can determine where both internal and external improvements can be made.

Webinars Archive

To influence continuous learning, FOS and BSOF encourage practices to build upon their skills and share valuable information with other community members. We want to build a lasting relationship with those in the society and it all starts through active learning and communication. Our webinars archive is a shareable learning experience for all FOS members.

Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act

With the rollout of the Affordable Care Act, Section 1557 is particularly important for all medical professionals. We want to make sure that the dedicated members operating within FOS are up-to-date on information crucial to maintaining a successful business.

The Florida Orthopaedic Society also provides a large amount of important resources to other medical associations in Florida and around the country. This will allow any member to easily navigate through and discover the information they’re looking for.

Find an Orthopaedist (AAOS: American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons®)

A common need amongst orthopaedic professionals is getting in contact with other physicians. Whatever the case may be, whether it’s for referrals or questions, swift communication is needed for efficient workflow. We provide streamlined access to the AAOS database so members can find individualized contact information.

Renew Your Membership

Access to our management resources does require renewal when practice memberships end. Physicians and practices may renew memberships to regain admittance and contact with the FOS community.
